Then back into NetConf to configure DNS settings.
Domain Name Servers (DNS) translate human-readable names, such as www.mandrakesoft.com, into IP addresses, such as 216.71.116.162.
DNS is an essential service to have working properly, especially for using the Internet. See the KPPP pages for an example of misconfigured DNS.
If you already have a working dial-up account on this machine, you would most likely already have some entries in this panel.
