When the desired settings have been made, choose the "Accept" button to close the window.
The alert that appears says the "downloads" mount-point doesn't exist yet. Choose the "Yes" button and Linuxconf will create it for you.
You should then see the newly defined volume in the list.
Then quit out of Linuxconf, activate the changes and return to the desktop.
