About the EmeraldCity gtk theme:

    Created by: Moses
Inception date: Saturday, November 20, 1999
  Derived from: Pixmap theme.

Overall scheme: Luminous phosphor-green look..
                e.g. monchrome green terminal

       Purpose: Low light eye-tolerable scheme
                designed for long term viewing
                under low light conditions...
will ultimately take on a 'cyber'
look and feel as the Enlightenment
                theme that compliments this one
                is released.

I began with the Blueheart theme initially, and ended up editing the Pixmap theme. Truly, all I did was open each image file located in the usr/share/themes/Pixmap folder, and made changes to attitude (rotation), color/hue, and brightness/contrast. At times I applied some effects. All the editing was performed with The Gimp! Thanks goto Rasterman for a starting place with wich I derived a new theme. I will continue to develop this theme and I will stick with the EmeralCity mode...

Please feel free to mangle this theme and come up with your own...
If you have any suggestions, pass them along! I hope you enjoy EmeraldCity.

Also: take a look at the tile08.jpg file located in the backgrounds/ folder. I goes very well with this theme, especially if you intend to use transparent or translucent terminals with phosphor-green text. It is the same image you should see as the background when viewing this file with a web browser.
