These are the base files for Hebrew language localization; you need it to correctly display 8bits Hebrew characters, and for proper alfabetical sorting, and representation of dates and numbers according to Hebrew language conventions. Note that this package doesn't handle right-to-left and left-to-right switching when displaying; it is to the xterm, application or virtual console driver to do that.
