5.8. Keyboard Style Manager

Keyboard Style Manager tool can be used to set four xset(1) values, and to change default Key Binding Set.

This values are standard xset(1) r and c subcommands and their values, minimal and maximal allowed values are (or should be in most cases) the same in GUI as they are in command line tool.

Pop down menu "Key Binding Set" lets user choose between "cua" and "nscde1x" key binding implementations. See Common User Access (CUA) Key Bindings and NsCDE 1.X Key Bindings. Changing this setting and applying changes will restart FVWM window manager.

Default button will set auto repeat to on, start rate to 512, repeat delay to 16 and click volume to 50. Set of key bindings will be set to "cua".

Apply button applies setting in runtime, while Save button writes $FVWM_USERDIR/Xset.conf file which is a generated xset command batch executed during startup.
