You can then test the mouse from this window.
If you have a wheel mouse and it feels like the cursor is stuck, just move the wheel a little bit to free it up. Then bring the cursor into the test area and try moving the wheel again
You can also test the mouse buttons to be sure everything works OK before moving on.
